About
Built by one lifter
who got tired of guessing.
Hi — I’m Savin. I built FormX solo: the app, the rank engine, the coach, this website.
It started with a problem every solo lifter knows. You can watch a hundred technique videos and still have no idea whether your reps hold up. Filming yourself helps, but a video without feedback is just footage. And every fitness app that tried to make training competitive ran into the same wall: leaderboards reward whoever is willing to quarter-squat the most weight.
FormX is my answer to both at once. AI form checks give you the feedback loop — score, fault, next cue. The rank ladder gives you the reason to keep closing it. And the form gate welds them together: no rank without form that held up on camera. Strong but sloppy gets capped. That single rule is why a FormX rank means something, and it’s the thing I’d defend last if I had to cut everything else.
There’s no growth team and no engagement lab here — just one person shipping, with the app’s numbers to keep me honest. If FormX feels opinionated, that’s why. If something feels wrong, tell me directly — the person reading support email is the person who wrote the bug.
Under the hood
For the people who read about pages — the parts I’m proud of:
On-device pose tracking
33-point body tracking runs while you film, so the analysis starts from real joint angles — not vibes.
A deterministic rank engine
Estimated 1RM, bodyweight-normalized, mapped to published strength standards. Same inputs, same rank — the engine is a calculator, not a slot machine.
The form gate
The one rule everything else serves: your form score caps the tier your strength can reach. It’s a few lines of code and the whole integrity model.
An AI coach with hands
Frank reads your form history and can actually edit your program — with an undo button, because trust is a feature.
