Terms of Service
These terms apply to the FormX iOS app and the formx.app website.
Acceptance
By creating a FormX account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
FormX is an AI-powered strength training app for iOS. It provides workout logging, AI-based form analysis, nutrition tracking, and personalised coaching. The service is provided as-is and features may evolve over time.
Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use FormX. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. One account per person — sharing accounts is not permitted. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Subscriptions and purchases
FormX offers an optional Pro subscription that unlocks additional features, and may offer one-time purchases (such as the limited Founders pack). Purchases are billed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google), depending on your device, on the terms shown before purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. To manage or cancel: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Refunds are handled according to the store's standard refund policy. FormX does not issue refunds directly. One-time purchases that are refunded or charged back may have their associated in-app items revoked.
Free tier and Pro features
A free tier is available with limited form analysis checks and AI features per week. The specific limits of each tier are shown within the app and may be updated from time to time. Free-tier limits apply on a rolling 7-day basis.
Health and safety disclaimer
FormX provides AI-generated form feedback and coaching for informational and educational purposes only. It is not a medical device, and nothing in the app constitutes medical advice, physiotherapy, or a substitute for professional coaching. Always exercise within your physical limits and consult a qualified professional before starting or changing an exercise programme. FormX is not liable for any injury that occurs during or as a result of using the service.
AI and accuracy
Form analysis, nutrition estimates (Snap-Cal), coaching responses, and program generation are produced by AI and are inherently approximate. Results may vary depending on camera angle, lighting, food presentation, and other factors. Do not rely on AI-generated feedback as your sole source of guidance.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or circumvent any part of it. You may not use FormX for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
Community content
FormX includes social features: posts, comments, direct messages, and shared media. You are responsible for the content you share. Content that is abusive, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, deceptive, or otherwise objectionable is not permitted and may be removed. Media attached to public posts passes automated moderation before display. You can report content or users from any post, and block users at any time; reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours. Repeated or serious violations result in account termination. By posting publicly, you grant FormX a licence to display that content to other users within the app.
Intellectual property
The FormX brand, app, and all associated content are owned by FormX. Your workout data, nutrition logs, and personal records belong to you. You grant FormX a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, and display your data for the purpose of providing the service.
Limitation of liability
FormX is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FormX and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, including but not limited to data loss, injury, or financial loss.
Changes to the service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may also update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes by email or in-app notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which FormX is registered. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
