Privacy Policy
What we collect
When you sign up, we collect your email address to create and manage your account. During workouts, we collect the exercises, sets, weights, and rep counts you log. When you record a set, our pose detection runs entirely in your browser — we never store or transmit your video. We do send anonymised joint angle data (numbers, not pixels) to our AI analysis service to generate your form score and coaching cues.
How we use it
Your data is used solely to provide the FormX service — storing your workout history, generating form feedback, and showing your progress over time. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than running the app.
Video and pose data
Video from your camera is processed locally in your browser using MediaPipe. No video footage is ever uploaded to our servers. The only data that leaves your device is joint angle measurements (e.g. knee angle: 92°) which are sent to OpenAI's API for form analysis. These measurements contain no personally identifiable information.
Data storage
Your account data and workout history are stored securely using Supabase, which is hosted on AWS. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
Third-party services
We use Supabase for authentication and database storage, and OpenAI's API for AI form analysis. Both services have their own privacy policies. We do not share your email or personal details with either service beyond what is necessary to operate the app.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccurate data, or request deletion of your account at any time. To do so, contact us at the email below.
